Nutracelle
Nutracelle is a company based out of Canada that sells various health food and supplement products. Their brand is defined by a commitment to health and wellness, distributing safe products and most of all a mother’s love. My role consisted of cultivating a refined brand expression with ad graphics, social media graphics and a full rebrand of their primary product, NutraLean.

NutraLean
Before & After

Logic of design decisions.
Alongside Nutracelle’s other products, NutraLean stood out like a sore thumb because of its dated design. The new protein powder bags are much more approachable, delectable and can now be associated with the company’s other products at a moment’s glance.
Back Dieline
This is a flat view of the back of the package to show how the same visual style is applied, information is cut down and the dual language aspect is approached.
Process
Here are some of the preliminary exploratory designs that helped inform the final product.

Sketches
For deliverables that require extensive visual exploration, sketching is always my first step. It’s much easier to generate more ideas much faster with pen on paper than going digital first. For the Nutralean redesign, I filled over 12 pages in my notebook with sketches like the ones seen here.
Flavor Features
Each of these graphics was designed to feature the individual flavors of Nutralean, creating excitement about the revamped package design.

Social & Ad Graphics
Nutracelle’s primary audience consists of mothers and a younger generation of health conscious individuals. Keeping this in mind, the graphic style I developed for Ads and Socials is friendly, welcoming, and eye catching with the tasteful use of the company’s brand colors. All illustrations are originals and the copy carries a sense of youthful personality.

Proposed Website Redesign
We proposed a website redesign to streamline the customer experience online and feature Nutracelle’s products and recipes in a more intuitive way. Here are examples of 4 main screens from the new proposed site.
